Alternate #2
VR Legendary Tales
It is a VR action role-playing game for up to 4 players in co-op mode. The player can collect loot, upgrade your skills, take down enemies and explore dungeons to make your own Legendary Tales.
Quick Summary of the Main Product
The story is about a Dungeon knight who saved the world from a sinister evil during an age long forgotten. He defeated many enemies who tried to curse the world.
Twenty years have passed in harmony since then, but since the legend of the Dungeon Knight became older, new horrors began to appear. A vile Necromancer has appeared and began spreading a dark curse using the source of the dungeon.
The only one who has any chance of stopping someone so evil and powerful is a new hero, a new Dungeon Knight. So the users are supposed to be the new Dungeon Knights and they embark on the journey to protect the world from evil necromancers.
Players in VR Dungeon Knight get to pick the class they want, choose their weapons, and then head into challenging randomized dungeons that are packed with bloodthirsty minions, devastating traps, and tons of loot.
A full directional movement system and realistic weapon handling let you traverse monsters and dungeons.
The main bread and butter of VR Dungeon Knight is the dungeon crawling aspect. Each dungeon has no real “path” for the player to follow, allowing for many choices and creative approaches.
There are always some objectives that need to be completed to get additional rewards, but they are not required nor do they have to be completed in any particular order. But once you’re in the dungeon, the rest is up to you, so it’s a great game for fans of the genre.
In terms of difficulty, it can feel a bit easy, while other fights can be extremely difficult. VR Dungeon Knight allows players to choose between Normal and Nightmare difficulty.
On paper, these aren’t really that different from each other, except for the Nightmare option that leads to a larger dungeon. we don’t mind seeing more difficult battles along the way, but it’s an interesting decision. This is an Early Access title and there is still a lot to do in that regard.
Other appealing aspects include the combat system, controls, and audio in the game. It feels like you are in a genuine dungeon where you fight for your life.
We appreciate the co-op mode, as we had plenty of fun with that one so far. We are big fans of VR Dungeon Knight and hope to see some more good content added to this game in the coming months.
Features and Benefits
Enemy Variety
Though the enemies tend to have similarities to each other, there’s a good-sized variety of enemies that you will encounter. These include the plentiful Orclings, the beefy Orcs, the sharp-eyed Skeleton Archers, and the wrathful Dead.
Among the enemies, one enemy type has a strength in one aspect, other types may not fare so well in that field, but they make up for it with a strength of their own, and it would be wise to learn from each one of them.
Music and Sound
Its sound is beautiful and we love it. It fits the theme of every situation very well and makes the virtual characters and the world feel more alive and realistic. At the same time, the game’s soundtrack also evokes emotions from the player and heightens the experience.
The reward room music makes us do a cheerful little dance, and that delightfully bouncy clarinet is the best; it’s the true reason we brave such a dangerous dungeon.
Choose your own playstyle
VR Dungeon Knight has the option to customize your player class that best fits your style; like Warrior, Thief, Mage, Ranger, Assassin, and Dungeon Knight. To level up your heroes you have to gain experience and by using the loot you can upgrade your gear and skills.
Weapon Variety
There is a wide variety of weapons including axes, bows, pistols, spells, shields, and great swords. You can keep them on your belt and use dual weapons for deadly combos.
Co-op Multiplayer
The existence of the Co-op Multiplayer option makes the game immensely more enjoyable. You explore dungeons with friends using drop-in/drop-out online co-op or lead another dungeon knight in your quest for glory with on-screen local fairy mode.
